KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) is one of Sweden's important sites for technical research and the largest organiser of technical/engineering education at university level. It hosts one of the Swedish national supercomputing centres, namely the PDC Center for High Performance Computing.

Role in TREX

PDC works in this project with scientists developing applications based on the Quantum Monte Carlo method to prepare for the upcoming supercomputers of the exascale era.
 

Relevant infrastructures and facilities

PDC operates a variety of systems ranging from a high-throughput foundation level cluster to a high-end European Tier-1 system.
