The QMC Hands-on Summer Workshop will be held at the Hotel Kaštieľ Mojmírovce in Slovakia.
About the venue
The QMC summer school venue is the 18th-century baroque mansion Mojmirovce, located about 100 km (1 hour mainly on motor road, see map) east of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The mansion boasts one large lecture room and a couple of smaller ones, 25 m long indoor swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, and indoor shooting range. The mansion is surrounded by an English park. The dominant features of the mansion are the Tolerance corridor, Salon of icons, and 300-year-old wine cellar.

Transportation
The nearest and most convenient major airport is Vienna, Austria, located about 50 km from Bratislava, the Capital of Slovakia, and about 150 km from mansion Mojmirovce, see map.
Shuttle services will be provided for participants from the Vienna airport to the Mojmirovce mansion.
The alternative airport is Bratislava, Slovakia. Should there be participants who would like to be picked up at the Bratislava airport, the shuttle service will stop at the Bratislava airport.
For those who would like to arrive on their own, there is easy access by car (via Bratislava and Nitra), see map. Very few bus services, again via Bratislava and Nitra are operational.
A taxi from the Vienna airport can also be arranged at a cost of €150.
