WATOC 2020

TREX CoE will be taking part in the WATOC 2020, the 12th Triennial Congress of the World Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists, which will be held in Vancouver, Canada, on 3-8 July 2022.

The WATOC 2020 program will feature 12 plenary lectures, including the most recent Dirac and Schrödinger Medalists, more than 200 invited lectures, 180 oral contributions and a large number of poster presentations. The program will cover a broad range of topics in method development and applications to chemistry, biochemistry, materials and nanoscience.

TREX Project Coordinator Claudia Filippi (Universiteit Twente) together with Ivan Stich (IPSAS) and Kasia Pernal (Politechnika Łódzka) will attend and give a talk on “A simple and efficient adiabatic connection method with Cholesky decomposition for strongly correlated systems” on 4 July at 10:30 AM – 11:50 AM in Meeting Room #8 as part of the Invited Lecture 1E.
